We’re taking Big Gun Points on TOUR! After the roaring success of Richmond last year, we’re taking TOUR internationally! Over May 29th-31st 2020 Wanderers will be heading to the Hague in the Netherlands.

There’s no limit to numbers, but we need commitment soon to plan transport/accommodation/stash etc.

After the roaring success of Cup of Nations, our next social is nearly upon us – and it’s a cracker!

What: Club Day!

Where: Battersea Park Astros

When: Saturday 31 August, pitch 12-3pm

Social?: Of course! Showers available at the pitch then we’ll move to a venue close by for club bonding. Venue TBA

Who: All members welcome – new and old!

Wanderers 2019/20 Trials- THIS WEEK!

We are looking to further strengthen our club for 2019/20, building on a successful 2018/19 season across the board.

Men:
All Wanderers 6 men’s team are competitive, playing from Hampshire/Surrey Regional 2 to Surrey Open Hockey League Division 1. We are particularly looking to recruit towards the upper end of the club.

Women:
The women are looking to continue to build on a very successful season which saw 4 teams promoted. All the women’s teams compete in competitive leagues between the South Women’s Hockey League Division 2 through to Surrey Hockey League Division 7. The women’s teams are looking to recruit across all teams and are in particular need of goalkeepers!

Trials Info:
Trials for the new season are being held on Tuesday 6th August (men) and Wednesday 7th August (women) at the Battersea Park Astros (closest to the Sun Gate).

Huge congratulations to the Ladies 2s and Ladies 6s who won their  leagues on Saturday, guaranteeing promotion to Surrey Prem and Surrey Division 5 respectively.

Ladies 1s secured promotion to South Division 2, and a win on Saturday will see them top South Division 3A. Ladies 7s have also hopefully secured promotion to Surrey Division 7 with a second placed finish in the league.

A hugely successful season for the Ladies side. We now roll into the Summer Hockey season as we look to build on our 2018/19 successes for the 2019/20 season.
