Mens 1s vs Wayfarers: 10/02/07

another local derby, another weekend of surprises saw (i) Litchy turning up to a match on time again - temporary blip or now a habit? who knows.... (ii) wanderers had a full side plus two subs, a situation not seen of late.

unfortunately, we didn't break our sequence of defeats and for the first time in a long time, we've now lost three on the bounce. it seems like a long time since our win at haslemere......

the last three games have had a consistent theme of (i) very slow start (ii) going behind (iii) not playing until we are behind and the second half has started.

being 3-0 down at half time and ending up losing 4-3 says it all. any way, on the plus side, mike kept us in the game in the 1st half (and kept his legs shut), litchy scored a good hat trick and the team played well in the second half. we need more of the second half and less of the first half.

tough game coming up next week vs Epsom but after that, we have couple of must win games coming up. remember chaps, beer tastes better when we win!!
