LATEST MATCH REPORT: MENS 1ST XI

I write this match report from the comfort of a speeding train, making its way down to the beautiful kent countryside. Some of you may be slighty suprised to see this coming from me, as I neither played badly (we still don't play in black oj!) nor did I get sent off (even if it was a poor decision), others will of course not be suprised as you voted for me, CU*NTS!

Now to the game. It was a day of disappointments and suprises. Suprise 1. Litchie being the first member of the team pitch side. Suprise 2. Jan turning up. Then the game started, Disappointment 1, Oj passing to a man in black, this was followed by disappointment 2, Seymour playing well! Disappointment 3, some shocking umpiring, making a goodish spirited game into a 5 yellow card game. Suprise 3, finding someone who stops the ball even less than Litchie.

The eds scored first and then we did, then they did, then we did. 2 all going to half time.

We were in relatively positive spirits at half time, the game was there for the taking and a win would take us out of any potential relegation battles come the end of the season. But we didn't take the game and some weak hockey lead to 3 goals from the EDs. In true wanderers style we rallied towards the end scoring 2 goals of our own, tappy with a lob and someone else in another way.

Disappointment 5, loosing to EDs.
