I am pleased to see that Charlotte has taken her responsibility as captain very seriously and as such requested that the team arrive an hour early to ‘talk through short corners’. Her organisation has to be commended, it is unfortunate however, that no short corners where awarded.
Target Reduce meet up time to 45 minutes prior to push back

Elizabeth needs to practice hitting the ball in a straight line on the pitch. On more than one occasion, including this particular game, Elizabeth has hit the ball straight off the pitch followed by foul language. If this sort of behaviour continues Elizabeth with find herself with a suitable punishment!

Eleanor can always be relied on at the back to prevent any balls from getting through and this game was no exception - including catching the ball instead of using her stick.

Larisa had a solid game at the back although she was far too argumentative. She would benefit from listening to the umpire before launching into an attack; maybe this is a tactic that she plans to employ when married.

Joanna tends to be slightly accident-prone and this game was no exception.  She might find moving her feet before they are hit of help.
Target Reduce the number of injuries

Jet lagged from jetting around Claire had a slightly delayed start to the day, but as always she distributed the ball well and dominated at the back.
Target Improve fitness levels to be in line with the rest of the team

Although Sally had a good game, her ‘off the pitch antics’ are less than pleasing. Not only did she fail to read the instructions carefully enough, turning up late, she then proceeded to dash off after the match to have a hair cut. Quite rightly she was voted DOD for this particular incident.
Target Improve punctuality, attend match teas & consume a fine for DOD

Rachel is a very reliable and consistent player but clearly her performance and energy levels are being affected by the vast amount of travelling she is doing. A move down south will definitely improve her efforts both on and off the pitch.
Target Move south quickly!

Jennifer showed athleticism on the field today and looked particular smart going into the game. I am afraid though that this display was not for the benefit of the team but for a certain distraction on the side of the pitch.
Target Stay focused and don’t let others (particularity spectators) distract you

As a new member of the team Rachel is settling in well and playing even better. She played well in her new position and her new boots proved their worth (even if they were football boots)

Jennifer is always willing to please (or so I hear) and continued to do so by scoring a goal as soon as she came on the pitch. Her new position seems to have paid off. Excellent work Jennifer, keep up the good work!

Christine is an enthusiastic, keen player who runs hard & always tries her best. She is highly motivated and even brings her family along to support. The team really appreciated the jacaranda and buttercup cupcakes made by mummy Blewett.

As vice captain Stephanie has been of great help and has lead by example by scoring a plethora of goals. Even having her arm as a hindrance Stephanie continues to be driven and hungry for goals.

**Player of the Match** Lisa’s skills are improving no end, although I do wish she understood that this is a hockey team and not a football team. She is, however, a delight to have on the team, always enthusiastic and willing to help- particularly when it comes to adding up MOM and DOD (although after this not so much!!!!!).

Claire was absent from this game due to yet another holiday in Marbella- I don’t know, these teachers have it easy!
Target Work harder and go on fewer holidays.

Name Dominique McCartney	Nickname ‘Dom’	Position Goalie	Form L6
Dominique is an excellent goalkeeper but will probably regret missing this match as her replacement; Natasha was rather good (we will need a note to confirm that Dominique was in fact attending a wedding). Dominique will need to work hard at training to prove she is the best woman for the position and keep a clean sheet in future matches.
Target Do not let any goals in.

Being in Abu Dhabi is no excuse for missing a hockey match and it is highly inappropriate that Laura has returned bronzed which has upset the other team members.
Target Tone down your tan

After a bump on the head Georgina has been a little more absent than usual.
